Some dude out there going by the nickname "wocarson" is releasing unofficial FAKE versions of WGA (v1.8.32.1) & OGA (v1.6.29.1) (not released/updated by MS) and posting them on different forums, resulting in people thinking that there is a new version out and searching for updated cracked releases.
If you are using ANY such release, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Personally, I DON'T TRUST THE CREATOR AT ALL as he/she is just mis-using the name of the well known ETH0 group (which officially no longer releases this crack) and copying codes from MY previous releases and tampering with the version numbers.
I had some requests in the past for updated cracks bcuz of this, but I am not going to release anything for these fake versions. My Latest work for the WGA v1.8.31.9 (posted here and here) and OGA v1.6.28.0 (posted here and here) [pswd:SupremoPhantom] is and will stay in tune with the official releases ONLY.

I have a question: AVG avir and NOD32 detects the patch as containing a trojan horse backdoor variant, only for this version the previous one where ok!

FYI...
Files scanned on virustotal... AVG and NOD32 reported clean.
6/38 report "suspicious" right now, which is because of the heuristic scanning method used on installer executable, however, rest assured, as long as you are using the files uploaded here, the files will contain NO VIRUS. You can trust me on that, but if you use it from another source, pls compare checksum of included files to ensure the files have not been modified.
Bottomline, these files are 100% VIRUS-FREE and SAFE TO USE. Any AV reporting otherwise is a false positive.

I dont buy that unless I see the original MS link for it.
I would specially not take wocarson's word for it.
I could release a v1.8.33.0 and say its rubbed from MS and its not for public release yet, ... where is the proof?
I am agree with you. I have it discussed with others. NOBODY can confirm that there is a new version. Nobody except wocarson.

maybe someone here can help me. the patch did not work for me. i did exactly as follows:
1. install a fresh XP Media Center 2005 installation
2. install XP SP 3 and reboot
3. install hardware drivers and reboot
4. reboot into safe mode and run the latest patch from SupremoPhantom
5. boot back into safe mode
after doing this, the "60 days left to activate" nag screen still exists. should i run windows update before running the patch? any help would be very much appreciated.

This is NOT an activation crack, this is a crack for genuine advantage validation. you need a separate crack tool for activating XP. Many are available on the internet, but almost all are detected as a virus by antivirus softwares. you need to run an activation crack with your antivirus disabled to get past that message. for the rest, my crack will get you all the updates from MS after that.

As you say now, that its activated OK, you can use this crack to get SP3 update from the MS updates (it will be a much smaller update file if done from within windows, and you activation status shouldn't change) or if you have the SP3 setup file with you, run it now.

I get an error message saying, "Window Genuine Advantage (WGA) v1.8.31.9 Crack Install has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then I'm given the option of sending an error report or not.

that error is specific to your system only, probably memory error or something. the code in itself is fine and works, no errors. try searching for solutions to the specifc error message you are getting and it will work.

Thanks for the reply. Previous to this, I had periodically run WGA crack v1.7.59.1, whenever I got the annoying WGA message. But, the WGA message is coming back with more frequency. I don't see that version here anymore. Is there a newer version I should run, prior to running this latest version?

I'm not passing the WGA validation, with is done as a part of the installation. At this moment, I'm not having issues, so I guess I'll just leave it as is.
Hi mate U are the best, I go no were but here, On to my problem any way i have done the patch's in safe mode on my xp media center install, the older ones have all worked, but the updated ones do not work, it keeps telling me I have 6 days to activate, but I have not had this problem with the old one any help would be very good, thanks

For the last time, this is NOT an activation crack. This is just for getting the OS updates.
Activation cracks are different.
Search the internet, there are plenty available to use.

When wanting to uninstall/remove WGA or OGA cracks how would I go about doing that?

NO, Any previous version "does not have to be uninstalled" to install a newer version.
Apparantly, "wocarson" has included an uninstaller and cleanup code in their crack (which has a few loopholes that I dont want to comment on).
I dont see why you would want to uninstall this, unless you have decided to buy the genuine product keys (A user with a genuine key does not need this EVER).
As for the rest, if you didnt want it, you wouldnt have been here searching for it in the first place, would you? if you dont want it, dont use it... simple. Making an uninstaller for this is not on my mind.
But anyways, if you want to, you can remove the downloaded add-ons/active-x controls from within IE properties interface, or by using the Add-On Manager, or by manually deleting the following files:
FOR WGA:
LegitCheckControl.dll
WgaLogon.dll
WgaTray.exe
FOR OGA:
OGACheckControl.dll
to reinstall the original verison, redownload the active-x controls.

i warn about the files shared by "wocarson" (a.k.a. "Troll" on 9down.com site).
the one shared on technize is originally uploaded and shared by "Shadowchaser".. he is a very trusted friend of mine. I have seen that file and the contents are my released files only, therefore safe to use.
