What is the difference between Activation and Genuine Advantage Notification, and what exactly do I need for my system ...
How to check Activation Status in Office 2007:
1. Open Word 2007.
2. Click the pearl on the top left select the "Word Options" button.
3. Go to the "Resources" tab and click the "Activate" button.
IF you see the message "This product has already been activated." then YOU DON'T NEED THE ACTIVATION CRACK FOR OFFICE 2007.
IF NOT, try to activate and see if you get the option to activate by telephone. IF YES, this activation crack will work for you, IF NOT, you need to get/download a retail copy of Office 2007.
How to check Activation status on Windows XP:
Click Start > Run ... and in the dialog box that comes up, type the following:
C:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
IF you get the message "Windows is already activated." then YOU DON'T NEED AN ACTIVATION CRACK FOR WINDOWS XP.
IF NOT, use google for it, there are plenty available.
How to check Activation Status on Vista/Windows 7:
Press the "windows" and "pause/break" key together.
A window opens up that will show you the current activation status at the bottom, under the section "Windows activation".
IF NOT activated, there are activation loaders available, use google.
The Genuine Advantage Notifications for Windows or Office is accompanied with visible changes on the system, e.g. :
1. a logon delay with the non-genuine notification message
2. a constant tray icon
3. wallpaper changing to solid black
4. watermark non-genuine notification on the bottom right corner of the windows desktop
5. a toolbar notification in Office applications
If you have any of these signs on your system, use the MGA v4.0 crack to fix your WGA/OGA issue.
It is a menu driven crack installer, so choose whichever you want.

if your product key is genuine, yes, if not, use MGA v4.0 and you will get your updates.

the WLAN stick detection is in no way related to this, there has got to be some other reason. however, if you still wish to remove it, just use the appropriate uninstall option from the menu.

I would not know anything about the wocarson release, so can't help you with that. If you are using MGA v4.0, i have not tested it on Win 7, but you would need to run it in compatibility mode for XP.
If you could offer an alternative download location it would help a lot. I can't use rapidshare any more, it just says preparing for download and eventually times out.

I'm thinking about upgrading to a legitimate Windows 7, but am not sure if my windows xp is legitimate. When I check with "C:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" it says I have an activated OS, so is it safe to buy the Upgrade version or would I have also have to pass a Genuine Advantage check?

One thing though; "Windows is already activated" but I'm not getting passed MS Essentials for the WGA check. Any idea why? (My windows inst. is on the "D" disc)
activation is different from genuine validation, and you need to pass the genuine check to know if you have a genuine xp valid key or not.
the way to check if your windows is genuine or not would be to download the latest MGA v4.0 and choose to remove wga crack. This will install the original WGA and tell you if you are using genuine XP or not.
for MS Essentials, there is a separate crack available, read my comments in other posts.
I paid for Windows but I won´t pay for Office (it is too expensive and my Windows XP was not cheap).
It was simple using your releases.
But now WGA+OGA are toguether.
In "MGA Crack v4.0" is not clear if Windows + Office are patched, and I only want to patch Office.So didn´t use it "MGA Crack v4.0"
My Office is cracked and working (activated with your .dll) but it shows "not genuine: buy now or remember me later". "Genuine Star" doesn´t appear, only that message each time I execute Office.

in the MGA v4.0, the WGA and OGA are clearly set, two separate options in the menu. read carefully, you can safely apply the OGA crack only, and your windows will remain as is.

Hi A friend has given me a PC & I'm pretty sure the XP Pro on it is not genuine. If I boot it up I get the WGA installation wizzard. The version installed is 1.9.40.0 but when i used the Shavlik Patch assessment Gadget the only missing updates were Q953155, Q961371 & Q973544.(I have windows defender & media Player 11 installed).I don't know whether to put up with the installation nag or use the installation wizzard to see if it is genuine & if not download your v4.0 crack. Can you please advise. Thanks

MS has designed a unique update mechanism. you won't see most new updates unless you install some pre-requisite updates, so its quite possible that you are seeing 3 updates which are to be installed before you can see any other update. as far as the question of installing WGA is concerned, it makes no difference whether the product is genuine or not, the end objective is that you should be able to get all future updates being released by MS.
so, my suggestion is to go ahead and install the crack anyways. if the current key is genuine, you would get updates, if not, you would still get updates, AND the nag will also go away. its a win-win situation for you both ways. let the WGA installation wizard, complete its work, reboot, install crack, reboot again.. thats it, you are good to go.

that my friend is quite obvious, otherwise i would not have been releaseing a new update each time MS updated their WGA/OGA. updates change file versions, so the crack files get overwritten. permanent fix would be getting a genuine key. :)

thanks for the answer, I have followed the instructions but I can´t make it work. Is this a problem with my windows key or my location?
if the key is genuine, then steady state should get installed right away. if its not, then that registry key provided should get it to work, condition being... there should be no internet connection available at the time of running the setup after merging the key.
what is the exact error/failure message you are getting?
the MGADiag utility show my validation status as: Geographically blocked PID.
If I install steady state without internet connection it installs perfect but the program rechecks validation when you open it, so should be no internet connection never.

Thanks for some beautiful work! I have not been able to find an answer to my question and Im not sure if Ive overlooked something. I used the MGA v4.0 tool and installed the MGA fix. after I reboot and try to install media player, it tells me that I may be victim of blah blah blah. Will MGA help me with this or do I need to be looking into something else?

if you have indeed read through the posts, I am sure you can see how many people expect cracks served to them on a silver platter. My time is spent doing far more important things as compared to yours.

Hello Supremo, i have read you posts and comments, and i know that you've said that you have no plnas on releasing anything on windows 7 since you haven't updated your system and wouldn't be able to test (as of Thursday, October 29, 2009 2:04:00 AM).
That's fair enough and I respect the fact that you try and test everything that you release on this blog to the point it works perfectly (have used your cracks for quite a while now and never had problems).
But the thing is, I have updated my system, and even though there are quite a few activation tutorials out there, cracks and such, i still don't know anyone even remotely reliable as you are, so, if you could give me (and everyone else) any pointers on what to do (other than buying the legit thing, I'm from a developing country and the OS costs more than 6 months wages for me) or who I could refer to that you believe to be as reliable as your releases, it would be much appreciated.
Once again, thank you for all the time spent helping people like me who are completely clueless on what to do regarding codes, software and such.
(and sorry if I got anything wrong, english is not my first language)

Window 7 is most secure operating system and really very difficult to break. With its read write and append functionality you can keep your documents and file very much safe and secure.
