Latest Release - OGA with OGACheckControl.dll ver. 1.7.111.0 !!!

Hi,
As on February 21st, 2009 Microsoft has released an updated v1.7.111.0 of Office Genuine Advantage Validation Tool.

Thanks to the users for informing about this update and link.

You can use my OGA v1.7.111.0 (posted here) [pswd:SupremoPhantom] to continue downloading all critical and recommended updates from Microsoft.

This release of OGA also includes the fix for the tray notification icon, so if you have a genuine Windows key but a non-genuine Office key, you don't need to download both WGA and OGA, ONLY this OGA release will suffice.

Till we meet again ... :-)

Cheers and Enjoy !!!
Supremo Phantom

Thanx so much for your precious and appreciated job @Supremo Phantom but this OGA version still does NOT work fully on my Office 2007 sp1 under XP... The updates are OK but in Word and Excel sheets I still got that extra tab 'Get Genuine Office' !...
Is there a solution?

Supremo, I want to Thank You for what you and other Liberators do. You're work is much appreciated and admired. Keep yourself underground and protected as new, strict legislation is coming, and I worry that the few reputable Liberators I rely on will begin to lay low. Keep on Rockin', brother.

Thanks maorosh :-)

Thanks d00rkey :-)

Thanks LUCi :-)

Thanks to all the anonymous users as well :-)

yvessr,
I havent seen that, so can not comment, try restarting once after successfully passing the validation and relacing the WGATray file. Should work.

Benjamin,
AVG gives a lot of false positives for viruses, this is one of them. Please change your Anti-virus asap.

Bobo/Oggy,
try installing both the latest OGA and WGA cracks and it should be fixed.

Good Luck, Enjoy !!!

We should be thanking you instead asking for support.
I really think this tool rocks but since new update in OGA, I have the same problem that others. The validation is success but the Notifications inside the application wont disappear.
Please help us.

It should have gone with the WGATray replaced. The only suggestion I can make is to try a repair reinstall of your office suite to remove entries by OGA notifications and see if it works. I can not test it coz it is not happening on my end. Please do share your results.

Thanks maorosh for the tip ...

I checked on this issue as well. This is a macro that can be disabled and prevented from beig loaded at startup.

Alternatively, please search for "OGAVerify.exe" and "OGAAddin.dll" in "c:\windows\system32" folder if you are using x86 OS or in "c:\windows\syswow64" folder if using x64 OS and delete these files.

Please ensure that NO office application is in use before deleting. Also, you may need to unregister the .dll file first, to do that, type the following in a command prompt window:

regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\ogaaddin.dll

or

regsvr32 /u c:\windows\syswow64\ogaaddin.dll

upon confirmation, you can safely delete these files.

Do let me know the results.
Good Luck!

Thanks! It worked, even though I couldn't delete OGAAddin.dll after running regsvr32.
I guess getting rid of OGAVerify did the trick.

Worked for me also, although the regsvr32 command was NOT accepted by my system !!!
Thank you for the tip.
