READ the COMPLETE POST and ALL THE COMMENTS Carefully Before posting ... OR DON'T POST AT ALL !!!

For those who are just blindly posting comments here ... I am assuming you are just someone who is not reading ALL my posts and ALL my comments carefully before posting.

When you show me things that "I" guided everyone to in the first place (but in all fairness, I will allow those comments too), believe me, its very annoying. I hate saying, "I told you so".

I keep repeating the same thing every time. So, for the last time to everyone - READ the COMPLETE POST and ALL COMMENTS Carefully Before posting ... OR DON'T POST AT ALL.

FINAL RECAP:

This is NOT AN ACTIVATION CRACK FOR XP or VISTA.

If you seek an activation crack, please ... continue searching outside this page.

WGA crack released is for Windows XP ONLY, it is NOT FOR VISTA.

OGA crack released works on both XP and VISTA.

I said, "As on January 8th, 2009 Microsoft has released an updated version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool that contains v1.9.9.0 of the file: LegitCheckControl.dll."

Here is the link to WGA v1.9.9.0:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/D/9/FD9E437D-5BC8-4264-A093-DFA2C39D197E/LegitCheckControl.cab

For those who rely on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Genuine_Advantage) for the latest info on WGA, first of all, IT DOES SHOW that the latest version is v1.9.9.0, released on 8th Jan. 2009.

As for that comment by the MS techie, it was with reference to the fake WGA releases (v1.8.32.0 and v1.8.32.1) by that dude, wocarson, that "I" had warned everyone about in the first place.

Wikipedia is an open-source, in-secure knowledge resource where "ANYBODY can post/edit ANYTHING", HOPING that the person sharing that info has verified the information source before posting.

WTH... Man, I can leave a comment as Bill Gates on that page, that from now on, "Windows XP PRO is FREE". Now tell me ... honestly, Would you believe it?

And of course, the MS page, about WGA v1.8.31.9, it has not been updated as yet ... Why? Ask MS, did they ever come out with any release properly, with all their bases covered.

WGA and OGA are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, Hence TWO DIFFERENT RELEASES.

About OGA, I still haven't seen an official MS download link for v1.7.105.35. As far as I know, I still get v1.6.28.0 from http://microsoft.com/genuine and NOTHING in Microsoft Update downloads OGA v1.7.105.35 either.

Here is the link to OGA v1.6.28.0:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/4/9/e494c802-dd90-4c6b-a074-469358f075a6/OGAControl.cab

I know there are cracked versions of OGA v1.7.105.35 doing the rounds. I can give you OGA v1.8 or even v2.0, but I am sorry, I do not indulge in that game.

So, I am not releasing anything till I see the original genuine release, with the download link, myself.

So in the end, I just got 2 words for you (Oh No, ... not Those two): FREE WILL. ;-)

I share things here out of My Free Will. You wanna use it or not, its Your Free Will. You wanna wait for MS to update their info pages, its Your Free Will again. I ain't gonna force you to download and use anything from here.

BUT - I DO NOT, and WILL NOT release ANYTHING that is not supported by verifiable genuine sources.

Another thing ... I have changed the way I pack and release my files. Some Anti-Virus software may report the file itself as a virus/containing viruses.

FILES SHARED HERE/DOWNLOADED FROM THIS PAGE ARE 100% CLEAN AND DO NOT CONTAIN ANY VIRUSES. I cannot say the same if you got it from somewhere else.

If you trust me, use it, if you trust your AV more, don't use it.

Its like they say, ... "It's MY way, or the HIGHWAY".

Bottom-Line: Release it or not, MY FREE WILL, Use it or not, YOUR FREE WILL.

Now I might have sounded a little rude here, but I am trying to reduce the amount of pointless comments that I get to reply, lately very often. If any one's emotions are hurt in the process, I apologize. No hard feelings were meant for anyone, I hope it is likewise for everyone coming here.

Till we meet again ... :-)

Cheers and Enjoy !!!

Don't be mad at those ignorant guys. Most of us respect your work and do trust your releasing. Maybe those guys are from the dev of MS who keep this cat and mouse game running.

By the way have you look at Win7 recently? Is there a way to extend the trial period after Augest? Thank you for your good work. Keep on! =] and have a nice weekend!

I am not mad at anyone :-)

I havent tried my hands on Windows 7 yet. I am waiting for a final release.
BETAs are too problematic to handle, particularly with all the crucial data that I work on, I can not risk errors that no one would have an immediate answer for.

Good Luck and hope ur weekend is fun too!

Yes, that's a good idea. installer.bat plus those three files within a RAR or ZIP file. That's all.

And by the way, never mind the naysayers, you're doing a great job. Keep it up!

Let me say in my opinion a link is not the ONLY proof to believe a file is not fake. I will try to summarize what i think after all researching i have done:

1. I have the original legitcheckcontrol.dll, signed by microsoft. (I got it via "third party" source, but the file is legit)

2. There are many posts in the ms forums talk about oga 1.7.105.35 (and some other oga versions newer than 1.6.28)

3. I have direct links to the "other versions" (1.7.104.0 and 1.7.105.14) mentioned above.

So it looks like 1.6.28.0 is definately not the latest version released by microsoft. Right, currently you can get only the oga 1.6.28. I don't know why ms has revoked/removed/hid the version 1.7.105.35. The mods in the MS forums do nothing to clear it up. And you already said it: "Ask MS, did they ever come out with any release properly, with all their bases covered."

Well, that ms has downgraded the oga is my tough luck.

Please edit it. Thank you.

Shadowchaser,
I truly appreciate the efforts you have taken to research in this case, and I do agree to what you say that links are not the only proof, however, in this particular situation, of all the users claiming to have v1.7.105.35, not even one could recreate the situation for me to research... it does ring a bell for me.
Trust me on this one, I have invested a considerable amount of time and energy into studying MS OS and MS operations, it does not work like that, for sure. I know they pull back releases as well, but even that leaves a link that no longer works ... you have seen that yourself with links for the versions of v1.7.104.0 and v1.7.105.14 that you have, and on the MS forums, you have seen links shared by experts that no longer work.
Users have claimed that they got it through Microsoft Update, .. I didn't - and such things leave install logs. Even "third party" resources could not give their source info.
I insist on "verifiable sources" for the only reason that I do not wish for the "wocarson" fame by coming out with random releases. "Verifiable sources" ensure credibility, and I would like to maintain that credibility for my work.

I hope you would understand that and agree to what I say and feel about this whole issue.

Shadowchaser,
as you yourself say, even if MS genuinely released it, it has withdrawn that OGA version. I am sure there is a strong reason for it (which is usually a bug/error in the release).
I would strongly recommend to revert and stick with OGA v1.6.28.0 till MS officially/permanently releases it to the world.
However, if you still wish to use the same version, the cracked version of that file is already available on the net.
As I said in my post earlier, FREE WILL. :-)

SupremoPhantom,
I agree with you. This is a highly suspicious situation. I don't know what is going wrong with 1.7.105.35. But i will not stop searching it. I also know the crack. I HAVE it. And i already have suggested not to use it:
http://defcon5.biz/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&p=6751#p6751

But, ... it doesn't really affects me since i am using Open Office :) I am only interested in experimental purposes and use oga/crack in that way.

In one thing your position is still unclear for me. What about the original file? It has a faultless certificate and seems legit. I am working a long time in file signing case. I can make a certificate that looks like from Microsoft (or from whoever), the problem is you must install the cert on your pc at first. But this is not applicable in the oga case.
I am also own a legit SPC (software publishing certificate). So i think i know whereof i talk.

Finally i just can repeat: Don't use OGA 1.7.105.35, till the state is cleared up by ms.

thank you

gnome,
you can use the key for as long as it is not tracked/reported as being misused, in which case it will get blocked and bring you back to square one where you would need this file to validate successfully.
good luck!

gnome,
to explain it in simple terms:

the OS generates a unique signature everytime a fresh OS installation happens which contains a lot of info like your key, hardware specs, location etc (techie mumbo-jumbo). when you try to validate your key, this signature is checked against their database of valid signatures list, and can thus tell if its being misused and return an alert flag if a compromised key is detected.

the crack basically returns "OK" irrespective of the test results everytime and so you continue to get all updates. :)

Enjoy!

Ricardo,
I would recommend you FIRST Download and Install BOTH my WGA v1.9.9.1 and OGA v1.6.28.0 and THEN try what you were originally doing. It will work for you.

Good Luck :)

Hi Supremo Phantom....many many thanks for the OGA crack and I can confirm that the latest version for the OGA is the one you've been saying which is 1.6.28.0. The OGA patch you provided worked falwlessly. Simply brilliant as every other such crack on the net did not work for my version of Office 2007 Enterprise. Thanks again.

Hi, I downloaded your OGA and WGA cracks from the Shadowchaser link, looks ok, works - but it does seem as though the Microsofr Updates are not getting through now. That yellow shield which tells you of an update has briefly appeared, but then disappeared once I clicked on it.... any suggestions?

Hi SupremoPhantom, first of all I would like to thank you for your work. It has worked perfectly. You are correct about your latest version of OGA. I deed not get the so called version v1.7.105.35. But today Friday march 20 on the Genuine Microsoft Software -Validate office Link: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/whyvalidate.aspx?displaylang=en I have a new OGACheckControl.DLL. This one is version 1.7.111.0 and version v1.6.28.0 no longer passes validation. Thank you in advance SupremoPhantom. Sincerely LUCi

Hi Supremo Phantom!

I just want to let you know that your crack works great!
I have only one remark: Maybe you can mention that before you use this tool, the WGA setup has to be done.
First I tried your tool, before the WGA setup, but the WGA setup deactivated your validation again. After a second use of your tool I am able to download all updates!

Thanks again! and greetings from the Netherlands!

I have install by mistake WGA Crack version 1.9.9.1. Now I would like to unistall it, as it stops installing updates. Before istalling I used to uncheck Microsoft WGA.

Thank you in advance.
